Easy made from scratch pancakes.

Combine egg, vegetable oil, milk, and vanilla extract in a large bowl and whisk until blended.
Add the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar to liquid ingredients and stir until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Grease a non-stick pan or griddle and heat over medium-high heat. Add the pancake batter to the pan and cook until the pancake bubbles on top or until the bottom is golden brown. Flip and repeat.
