Sorry to sound behind the times but when you say antenna, is it one on the roof or one of the little ones inside your home attached to your tv.....sorry....a little non-technical over here.

For anyone interested in saving $$$ Switching from Cable to Streaming is very simple. Great website that will compare services, streaming options and will teach one how to make the switch. Have been 100% streaming since 2016. Previously paying $166 for cable. Streaming cost now $52. Huge advantage there are no service contracts!!! I use Directv Now, Netflix and Acorn.

I bought a box from Morris Ullom for 60$. I get so many channels I cant watch them all. You have to have good internet and a HDMI hookup and you will love it....Well worth the money.

Hi everyone,
I would like to share something that sounds funny, actually when I was a school going girl and don't study just for watching TV my mother use to say the same sentence that I am thinking to cut the cable. So that I should start studying without wasting anymore time on watching TV.

Netflix is one of the best option in that case

Get rid of the t.v. altogether and get yourself a short wave radio, its easier on the eyes and brain and you get a lot better news too.

I put my DISH on vacation but still got lots of channels and movies and sitcoms. I shouldn't have had it turned back on, went to Wilkes telecommunications with my other computer and phone. It cost me $5 a month on vacation. If you get a ROKU stick you can get lots and lots of movies for free. But no news.

get a ROKU stream tons of channels from it on your TV. We have one for each TV and can watch pretty much anything we want. They sell them at Walmart. Hulu $7.99 Netflix 12.99 per month. Drop cable and satellite

Dish recently offered a new streaming service that does not require the installation of a satellite receiver. Content is provided over your ISP (internet service provider). Basic package $20 mo. Look for other providers to offer similar packages soon, i.e. Google, Apple, Yahoo, among others...

Sling TV

I've cut the cord. Won't be going back.

An antenna for local live / sports
Roku for Netflix and Hulu
Redbox for new movies

Way cheaper.
